Hubert - bowling Hubert Gibson (Jack) was born 16th August, 1899 (family Bible says 1900) at Hawthorn.

Hubert married Irene Isabella Giltrap on the 21st August, 1926 at St Jude's Church, Brighton. Irene was born in Dublin, Ireland.

Hubert took after his father and was a police officer in the plain clothes branch. He also served in the Royal Australian Air Force (1941-1954) reaching the rank of Warrant Officer.
