Leonard Arthur Ranson Evans

Leonard was born on the 15th July, 1907, at Fifth Avenue, St. Peters, South Australia. He trained as a Chartered Accountant, and took over the Secretaryship of St. Peters College after his father died in 1950.

On the 23rd September, 1937, Leonard married Sydney May de la Poer Beresford. at St. Peters College Chapel. Sydney was the daughter of Claude and Edith de la Poer Beresford, nee Mead. The wedding was celebrated by Rev. Guy Pentreath. After the ceremony, guests were entertained at the home of the bride's parents, Martin Avenue, Fitzroy, South Australia.
